This spring The Fleming Castle Museum in Flemington has been selected to undergo a historic garden revitalization project.
According to the New Jersey Historic Trust, Fleming Castle may be the last surviving 18th century building in Flemington, dating to circa 1756. The goal for the exterior is to transform the yard into a functional space useful for public events, educational activities, special group tours, weddings, etc. while also paying tribute to the property's rich history. The Garden Beautiful Charity has been working diligently to pull the project together.
